Frequently Asked Questions...
Salt, Pepper, & Ginger is a unique service as well as a one-woman operation. I welcome any and all questions about how SP&G works and why I do what I do. If you find that your question isn't answered below, please feel free to submit any inquiries through the contact form and I will address them as soon as possible!
Do you offer gluten-free/allergen-free meals?
I will always do my best to make adjustments for dietary restrictions. However, I do work out of a kitchen that handles gluten, dairy, tree nuts, soy, and other potential allergens. I am able to offer gluten-sensitive options (I have been gluten-free myself!), but cannot guarantee my meals will be safe for those with a diagnosed gluten allergy. I am happy to omit offending ingredients upon request, and will use separate utensils/cookware to prevent cross-contamination whenever possible. Please inform me of any allergens before placing an order.
Can I order dishes a la carte?
I do not offer a la carte items. Each meal is carefully designed and budgeted to work together as a balanced experience and dishes are chosen that complement one another. I have attempted a la carte in the past and it was difficult to maintain consistency in quality and order accuracy.
Do you cater?
I have exited the catering world, phew! I still occasionally work with customers on in-home fine dining experiences or occasional family gatherings, so if that interests you please never hesitate to ask.
What payments do you accept?
I accept payments through Venmo, PayPal, or in cash or check form. Please email for details!
Where can I find you on social media?
Recently Salt, Pepper, & Ginger made the decision to exit all social media. I believe that small business can still thrive without this function, and am always working on ways to engage customers and showcase work. "The Table" is an active blog where you can see previous menus, food photos, and are able to comment on meals. Click here to check it out!
